On the night of Notte Bianca, held on the 6th October in Valletta, KINEMASTIK was commissioned by the arts council to construct a makeshift pavilion made entirely out of plastic for an event entitled VENI VIDI PLASTIK.

Kinemastik organized an event in order to participate in the Malta Arts Summer Festival. We invited Blu and Lorenzo Fonda, two young, cutting edge Italian artists to visit Malta and paint a wall at the University Roundabout subway space, which is to become the first Maltese skate park.

The 3rd International Short Film Festival was held in Valletta on the 6th, 7th and 8th of July. The festival culminated at the Westside Selekt screenings at Gardjola gardens, a ravelin within the bastions of the fortress capital city Valletta.

Filmgruppe Chaos was founded in 1975 as a collective of Super-8 filmmakers. The group has produced short experimental- and animationfilms as well as a documentarys and a featurefilms. Two new featurefilms recently were released as 16mm prints. A collection of DVDs will be released soon.
